My Kitten's
Passing Smelly Gas!!
|
|
| |
Dear Dr. Baum --
My kitten is passing really smelly gas. Her food
is the Nutro Max-Cat kitten dry food, plus a small amount of the
little Max Kitten canned food.
She is very active, plays a lot and seems very healthy. Also her
bowel movements are very smelly. Should I change her food to another
brand? I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you. She is 4 months old.
Nancy Wyatt, West Los Angeles CA
Dear Nancy:
You should have a parasite exam on her stool. If it is negative,
gradually try another brand of kitten food and observe what changes,
positive, negative or neutral, occur.
