GREEN NIPPLES ON MY CHOCOLATE LAB MOM?

Dear Dr. Baum --
Female chocolate lab had babies. The babies
were given away. The mom's nipples are a greenish color. What could
this be? What could be done to help her? The original owner gave up
trying to find her a home, and now I’m taking care of her.

The breasts may be engorged with milk. Apply warm compresses and
gently milk. This will relieve the pressure.
