Will my poodle's sniffer wear out?

Dear Dr. Baum --
I have a 2.5 lbs female poodle. She likes to go
for walks, it takes her 30 to 40 minutes to walk ONE block because
she has to sniff every blade of grass, every tree and shrub and
every inch of concrete and everything laying on the concrete. I am
worried her sniffer will wear out. Is this normal?
