Dr. Odet Kaspari was born in Iran, grew up in Germany, and moved to the United States in 1992. She owned a business importing and wholesaling Italian wines, but fate interceded in the form of a lovely kitten named Kika. The little cat, whom she adopted, sparked what became an overriding call -- veterinary medicine.

Earning her doctorate in the field from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Dr. Kaspari has been practicing in Southern California since her graduation. She started out as a part-time relief doctor at Center-Sinai Animal Hospital, where she soon fell in love with the staff and clientele, becoming a full time veterinarian at the center. Her professional passions include internal medicine, surgery, and helping pets and their owners.

Dr. Kaspari’s personal passions are for the outdoors -- biking, hiking, and traveling. Her most recent adventure took her to Africa, where she went on a safari, and enjoyed the experience of absorbing a different culture along with her new hobby of photography. Her membership in World Vets (an organization helping pets worldwide) will take her on many more journeys where she can help animals and humans alike.
